WHEEL ALIGNMENT

KoenïC was acknowledged by Drive Magazine in April 1996 to be one of the best Wheel Alignment Centres in the country. One need not look any further when it comes to alignment or straightening on your pride and joy’s wheel alignment.
Speak to us and we will explain that our success lies in carefully selected staff and making sure they get the proper in-house training needed to meet customers’ high expectations with regard to technical knowledge and know how.
Some people will claim your car needs to travel in a straight line with the steering centred, other case their opinion on price. This is all wrong. Driving in a straight line with your steering centred does not always mean the car’s alignment is 100%.
Does your steering return back to its original position after turning?
Does your steering turn in equal turns to the left and to the right?
When cornering, does your car tend to over steer or under steer?
Does your car travel in a straight line?
The success in wheel alignment does not lie in the price, but – like anything else – Value for Money: will it drive you to the next teller for your next set of tyres?
How often does your car need Wheel Alignment?
According to most new Motor Manufacturers it is advisable to have your car’s alignment checked every 10000km to 15000km and this distance dramatically shortens when you regularly go off road or travel over poorly maintained road surface areas
OR
After hitting a pothole or pavement
When replacing tyres
After replacing any suspension parts
If irregular tyre wear indicates this is necessary
When experiencing handling problems
We specialise in all makes of cars:
American
European
Japanese, etc
The first thing to do before you can do alignment is to check for worn parts, irregular wear on steer tyres and lastly tyre pressure.
After the Wheel Alignment Technicians have pre-checked the suspension, a camber and caster reading is taken. Only after this they set the toe, caster and cambers and centralise the steering wheel.
